CAMERON GORDON

​Cameron is an independent economist and data analyst. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons), Bachelor of Arts, Diploma in Science (Mathematics), and Master of Science (Mathematics) from the University of Queensland. He is currently a PhD student in the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) at the University of Adelaide. 

 

Cameron has previously worked with Queensland Treasury as a commercial analyst on projects including the end-to-end legislative development of policy for mining rehabilitation and financial assurance, strategic policy development, the evaluation of large infrastructure developments, and project evaluations for regional and industry investment funds. As a senior policy officer with the Department of Natural Resources, Mines, and Energy he provided specialist advice and market monitoring for mining and State resources economic issues.
